Brianna Needs Help After Car Accident

Hi! My name is Brianna. This is a bit of my back story…Right after high school, I’ve been working full time and budgeting the Dave Ramsey way! I saved $10,000 to pay cash for my first starter car. Unfortunately, I rear ended a car on a heavy highway traffic. Thankfully, no one was hurt or rushed to the hospital and my full coverage car insurance took care of the accident claim. I was very fortunate to get money back from the total loss for a new down payment for a second car. After viewing multiple cars, I decided to get my first loan for a compact SUV to feel more secure than a smaller vehicle. I was working hard to pay off the car by the end of December 2025. Unfortunately, on 03/09/25 I was on my way to church when a commercial truck rear ended me at a complete stop. Traffic was being directed by local police, so I had my witnesses! Thankfully, no one was hurt in the sense of being rushed to the hospital, but I did get whip plash. I have contacted an attorney but won’t help me because I don’t have sufficient claim. I work close to 50 miles round trip from home. I have had to take a leave of absence due to not having a car available. My mom has helped drive me to work but she’s having to drive a 100 miles round trip on a diesel truck. Uber is $50+ one way, so by me going through Uber I’m saving zero. I have tried applying to work locally and have not been hired. It’s taken three weeks to get the final total loss amount and thankfully my car was paid for in full. I lost over $14,000 I paid towards my car and have no down payment for a new car. Can’t get to work cause all I make in one day will go towards Uber. I am trying to raise $9,000 towards my car/down payment.
