Brianna Aaronson's Med. Fund

Monday, January 18, I walked into work and expected to see all the usual faces. However, there was a meeting first thing and the brightest one of them all was missing. Naturally, I thought Brianna was probably off or just running late, but surely she would be here – she never misses work. In addition, it was even strange for her to be off or running late in my mind.

Then, the worst announcement came no one ever wants to hear about their friend or coworker. Brianna had been in a wreck Sunday night and was in the ICU. I was in disbelief. It could not be true. She just got married in November, a promotion, and is a mother to a three year old boy. I was not going to accept that sweet, little Brianna was hurt and in such writhing pain. However, it has finally sunk in that it is reality. Our sweet Brianna is hurting and is suffering from many injuries.

This is what her mother, Amber, had to tell us regard the injuries, “Just a quick update she has had 2 surgeries and a good possibility of more. She has an extractor from one hip to the other to stabilize her hips and pelvis which were both crushed.  Her collar bone is shattered and she has 2 breaks in her back.  Her bladder was completely ruptured she had quite a bit of bleeding in her abdomen which caused her to need blood in her first surgery.  Her mind is not there she cannot remember anything from the accident and at this time her husband and I have decided it's best that she only know she was in a car accident. She remembers her son and does not understand why he isn't with her.  She knows who I am and who her brothers are."

We are Brianna Aaronson’s family here at Triad Retail Construction, Inc. She has not only made a difference in workplace, yet fullness in our hearts. To us, she is known as simply, “Bri.” Bri, is one of the most humble, ambitious, nurturing, helping, and reliable employees and the list could go on and on with her incredible attributes. All in all, she remains full of humility and integrity with her gentle spirit. She is a devoted wife, a beautiful mother, and a wonderful friend.

Brianna’s husband, Bret, was not hurt in the accident and her son, Layne, was not with her. In addition, the funds will be used to help pay for Brianna not being able to work and paying for her hospital bills since she will be there for at least six months, the doctors have estimated.
