Brianna’s surgery and recovery

My name is Alexis Ocasio. I am writing this on behalf of my sister Brianna Ocasio and her family. Allot of you know my sister but those of you who don’t I know her as an amazing mother to 3 beautiful children, a fiancé to a loving father, an outstanding friend to anyone she has shared her love to, someone bright and bubbly you’ll never see her down even in this time she is literally fighting for her life she is humble she is positive and hopeful, she is giving and nurturing, the most beautiful soul you can ever come across! What allot of you don’t know is she has been suffering from undiagnosed and untreated health issues that she hasn’t had answers to until now. For over a year she’s been having on going issues with her breathing which she always assumed was her asthma until she had a scare August 6,2022 which led to a hospital visit a day later. On that day a lump was found in her throat compressing 85% of her airway. At that point she was transferred to another hospital to do more testing in which they had determined it was a tumor, a cancerous tumor called Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma. While in the hospital she got a tracheostomy surgery done to help her breathe better. Although that was a great help unfortunately her fight has not even begun. September 26,2022 is the day she gets this monster removed from her body & god willing they take it all. She will be hospitalized for recovery over a week. Her recovery time at home will be a very long road a road in which we may not know the end of and she can’t take alone. Her recovery involves more surgery, speech therapy, hormonal therapy, radiation 5 days a week etc. So I’m asking all of you first and foremost to say a prayer for her and her family and also if anyone can do the best that they can to donate anything you can during this hard time for her and her family. Due to this hard time she will no longer be able to work all profits will go to her medical visits, medical bills, as well as taking care of her household and children.
