Brianne Casey Hurricane Ian Relief Fund

My name is Laura Drago of Los Angeles, CA. I'm starting this fundraiser to help raise relief funds for my best friend Brianne Casey in Ft. Myers, Florida.

Brianne Casey is a local Ft. Myers nurse whose house was destroyed in Hurricane Ian this week. She and her fiance, Andrew, will need help to rebuild and get their feet on the ground after this natural disaster. They have lost a great deal--including pets--to the hurricane, which they could not evacuate from because of Brianne's job requirements.

Brianne has been an Emergency Room nurse for many years, working in both Virginia and the Florida/Ft. Myers area tirelessly throughout COVID and all of the difficulties of the past few years.

She had only recently become a homeowner in Ft. Myers and has been building a life in the city for the last year, all while attending school to become a Nurse Practitioner. She and her fiance were set to get married on New Year's Eve this year on Ft. Myers Beach, their venue was also destroyed in the hurricane.

Brianne has chosen a profession where she gives a great deal of herself to others, and my hope is that people will be able to give some of that energy and assistance back to her in this trying time. I know many people are struggling at this time, but If you can spare anything at all to help her in this situation, it would be greatly appreciated. These funds will be given directly to Brianne to use in rebuilding her home and getting through the next couple of weeks being displaced from her residence.
