See the story below

Many of you that know Brian know that he is a go with the flow, never take life too seriously kind of guy. He is the father to 3 beautiful young women and 1 rambunctious little girl. He also became a grandpa to a beautiful baby girl 2 months ago. While always striving to be a strong presence in his family’s life, Brian started losing his hearing a while back but never wanted to worry anyone.

“For those who don’t know I was diagnosed with having a 3.1 cm acoustic neuroma . These are typically benign tumors that develop deep in the inner ear and when large enough they will cause hearing loss , balance issues and even start pressing on the brian stem . Mine is large enough to where it’s causing all 3. After much research & plenty of consideration, I’ve decided to have mine removed by what I feel is the best team to handle this . I’m fortunate enough to live so close to this world renowned team from UCSD. Dr. Friedman & Dr.Schwarz .
Besides wanting you to know , I also post this to ask you to be sure to look into any sudden symptoms you have . I was too busy for the Dr. right ? Mine was the sudden hearing loss on my right side which I didn’t think much of . Seeing a golf ball sized mass on an image of your brain is something humbling .
Knowing that along with this team of surgeons I also have my family at my side , I’m approaching this with a full heart and strong mind .
Listen to your bodies .”

Please consider donating to help support his medical bills and housing while in San Diego for surgery. Also, please pray for a peaceful mind, his surgeons steady hands, and his family’s strength during our difficult time.
