Brice Miller was larger than life—equal parts genius and goofball, with a heart big enough to fit all of Galveston. His high energy, kindness, beaming smile, and intelligence made it hard to dislike him. He had many talents and interests, but especially loved to make people laugh with his goofy puns and wild ideas. Above all, he was a loyal friend; you could count on him to go out of his way to help in any situation. He loved anything and everything related to science in all fields, but his passion was neuroscience. He was a brilliant and dedicated researcher who thrived in the lab, working under the mentorship of Dr. Agenor Limon, Dr. Matt Mendoza, and Dr. Alan Landay at the University of Texas Medical Branch. In honor of Brice’s passion for learning and making the world a better place, we are raising funds for a scholarship in his name. The Brice C. Miller Memorial Scholarship will be dedicated to neuroscience research at the University of Texas Medical Branch. Please consider donating to this fund to help us carry on his memory and passion.
