SOCIAL BUILDER LEGO CLUB CHARITY CAUSE

Hi Everyone,

My name is Chin, and I am a born again "AFoL" (Adult Fan of Lego). Like many before me, I have outgrown Lego toys while adulting in Melbourne, Australia. However, due to Covid and other personal events, I suddenly have this re-birth experience which has re-ignited my passion for Lego!!

With that, I am hoping to create a charitable cause to recycle unwanted Lego bricks to setup a Social Builder Lego Club (Bricks2Change) based in Malaysia for children aged between 7 to 12 years old.

Currently the first inaugural Social Builder Lego Club is being planned for Sekolah Kebangsaan Damansara Jaya 1 (SKDJ1) in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.

Why am I doing this?

• The joy, creativity and happiness by delivering “Better Lego Play."
• Hoping to create a sustainable social enterprise involving LEGO by creating a circular economy with a social good initiative.
Lack of accessibility to Lego clubs at public library or public schools in Malaysia

What is the community support behind this idea?

I have run anonymous Google Form survey to gauge community interest last year and received 65 responses from participants in both Malaysia and Australia.

Below are the key finding that support my cause!

I'm convinced! What must I do?
***Donate your unwanted Lego bricks to me!***
