Help Kurt Akemann clear out old bills.

October 19th: As of the 14th I have finished my contract period and become a full employee of WellBe Senior Medical. This is great news, but it means I now don't get paid until 11/1. So I would ask for any help folks could provide comfortably to get me through this pay gap.
May 4th, 2024: I've been working since April 8th and my new job is going well. It is paying my current bills but I'm left with back dues for my association. I will likely need to pay at least an extra month of dues this month and I may need to consult a lawyer.
My previous update had to be deleted. In the first full week of November I was laid off unexpectedly. Worse, my mother died on November 12th, leaving my dad needing help and short of money. I need help with my medications and association dues and if folks can spare it I'd like to help my dad out as well.
Please help and share if you can.
My name is Kurt Akemann, and I lost my job in February 2022. As I was searching for a new position in the spring, I developed heart failure due to arrhythmia and spent most of June in the hospital. As a result, it took me until September to find and start my new job, which I have been working for over a month. I'm doing well, and people have been very helpful, but the lack of work in September and the need to ramp up in my new job have left me behind on my bills. I am asking for help in bringing my housing payments current so that I keep my condo, pay for ongoing medical bills and start helping out other members of my family who are dealing with crises.
After finding work during the summer, my sister Karla was let go from her job on October 12th through no fault of her own. Worse yet, her former employer failed to pay her on the 14th of October and did not pay her until December, leaving her behind on some bills. She is also looking for help paying back housing, health insurance, and utility bills.
I am employed full-time, and Karla is employed part-time, expecting to secure full-time employment within the next month. We only look to pay essential housing, utility, medical and health insurance bills. Any funds donated will be split evenly between the two of us. Please help if you can do so without hardship, and please share this fundraiser with your social circle. Thank you.
Update: I have slightly changed this fundraiser description to explain Karla's and my changing circumstances. While I need to start paying more in housing and I have ongoing medical bills my insurance is now through my employer, which has helped me. Karla has part-time work now but is still trying to get steady full-time employment.
2nd Update: My sister Karla has secured full-time work but I was recently laid off, in large part due to my recent illness and personal losses. I have had strong recruiter interest recently so it shouldn't take me long to find work again, as my health is much better than it was last year. But I do need to ask for help paying for my housing, medical bills, and health insurance while I find a better-paying job that will let me give back more to the community that has helped me so much. Please help if you can do so without hardship.
As Karla has her own GoFundMe, we have decided to separate our GoFundMes (though I will help her out whenever I am able). I will still give updates on her progress.
Further update: I have found a new full-time job but I'm having to dig out after being unemployed. I've remediated some of my bills but I still have to pay full price for insurance this month and for the next 2 months at least. I would ask you to please help if you can do so without hardship.
