Urgent: Help Family in Crisis Rebuild Dangerous Bathroom!!

Hi Everyone,

We are Cael and Don, and are reaching out on behalf of our best friend Janelle Bridge, a hardworking 38-year-old mother of two amazing kids. Janelle is the backbone of her family (The Bridge Family), juggling work and home life as the primary breadwinner. Recently, their world was turned upside down when they discovered a severe mold infestation that caused their bathroom to collapse. Now, they're left without a functional bathroom and no place to shower.

Janelle and her family, who live in Geelong Victoria, have been through the wringer. During the pandemic, they faced a business disaster from which they are still recovering. Things have been really tough, but they've held on and pushed through. This latest blow, however, has left them in dire straights.

Not having a bathroom is more than just an inconvenience as you could imagine—it's a crisis.

Their son Sebastian has been recently diagnosed with the autoimmune disorder Crohn's Disease as well as impaired liver function. 'Seb' has become chronically unwell. His blood test results show evidence of mold toxicity, which could well be the primary cause of his illness. Crohn’s Disease impacts the digestive tract and causes large amounts of stomach pain, something Seb manages by taking hot showers.

Both Kids Annabelle and Sebastian are neuro-spicy (a fun term we use for their unique and wonderful neurodivergent traits), and rely on their shower time not just for bathing but also for de-escalation and calming. Without this crucial space, their daily routine and well-being are severely impacted.

We need to raise $45,000 to rebuild their bathroom, eradicate the mold, and restore a safe and functional space for them. This renovation is critical for their health, especially for the kids, who are now more vulnerable due to mold exposure.
