Bridget Will-Greene needs our help now!!

My friend Bridget has reached out to me to state that she has received devastating news. She resides in Las Vegas, NV and was diagnosed with Stage 2 Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma Cancer. Bridget then reached out to the Cancer Treatment Center of America in Atlanta and her family assisted her in flying there to get a second opinion. There, she found out she was misdiagnosed with Stage 2 in Las Vegas and actually has Stage 4 Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma Cancer that is in her bone marrow in which she was told prior it was not.

The doctors in Atlanta are confident that they can get rid of the cancer but it will take approximately 2 years of chemotherapy treatments along with medicines to keep her comfortable during this time of healing. Because she has to travel round-trip from Las Vegas to Atlanta, needs lodging, as well as meals during her travel to the Cancer Treatment Center of Atlanta, she will need financial assistance to help her with those expenses. Bridget is scheduled to begin her chemotherapy treatments in approximately 8 weeks

It's never a good time to receive news that one has cancer!!!!!!! In particular, it is especially alarming during this Covid-19 pandemic. It makes the anxiety and pressure that much worse when you are forced to travel in the midst of it all to seek medical treatment. Moreover, Bridget was recently laid off from her job at Expedia in which she worked for 15 years because of the pandemic. While she is grateful for unemployment pay, that expires in 6 months and then she will not have any income to assist with her flights and lodging for 1 family member to travel with her during treatments in Atlanta.

As Bridget's friend, I am asking everyone to please graciously assist my friend in donating whatever you can during this great time of need so that she can get to her treatments with a family member to assist her to receive the proper care and heal her body.
