Travel Accommodations for Princess Bridget

Hello, my name is Bre, but Bridget and her brother Brock lovingly named me Tete! Bridget is a 2 year old little girl with the biggest heart! She is spunky and outgoing and radiates sunshine wherever she goes! She is truly a light for our family and we are so blessed to have her!
Her medical journey started a few short weeks ago when her eye began to bulge. She was taken to her pediatrician and then sent to Northeastern Eye. That day she was referred to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. After a brain MRI and consultation with specialists at CHOP she was diagnosed with Optic Nerve Glioma. Bridget will start chemotherapy on Tuesday and continue for 12-15 months.
An Optic Nerve Glioma is a type of brain tumor. They are found in the optic chiasm, where the left and right optic nerves cross. Optic Nerve Glioma is a rare form of cancer that’s found in children. It is often associated with a genetic disorder called neurofibromatosis type 1 or NF1.
I am starting this fundraiser to alleviate the financial burden of travel expenses and lost wages for Courtney, Bridget’s mommy and my sister. No mother deserves to deal with this nightmare, the least we can do is come together to lift her up and remove the financial worry during this incredibly trying and emotional time.
