Harvard's Bridge to Dental School Invited ME!

GUYS! I was offered an opportunity to participate in Harvard University School of Dental Medicine's 'Bridge to Dental School' summer program! If you know me, you know I have been working day in and out to bring my career aspirations to life. Ecclesiastes 3:1 tells us, "for everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven...". After years of exploration, I've finally found what lights my fire and truly believe my time has come. This past year has brought me the most growth. In this growth I have found self-discipline, patience and most importantly confirmation from God. By the grace of God alone, I'm going to be a Dentist!
This 10-week summer program will prepare me for the vigorous and highly-competitive dental school application process. I will receive interactive DAT preparation, personal statement advisement, academic enrichment coursework, interview training, mentorship, and many other opportunities to prepare me for dental school.
The program will take place every weekend from June 1st- August 3rd at Harvard University School of Dentistry in Boston, MA. I am currently living in Baltimore, MD and Boston is about 9.5 hours away. The cost to travel every weekend over the 10- week period totals approximately $3,300.00. This includes flight fare as well as Uber services too and from Boston Logan International Airport.
As this opportunity is once in a lifetime and a literal "bridge to dental school", I cannot let it pass me by. I will gain so much from this experience. With humility, I am seeking the support of my village- my family, friends and everyone who supports and believes in my dream as much as I do.
