Bridget's Flight Home for Burial

If you were diagnosed with advanced cancer of the breast, or any other organ, would you go anywhere to find a cure? To be treated with the best technology and medicine; to have a better chance at survival; and to be treated by top doctors who specialize in saving the lives of cancer patients? I would, and so do many others around the world.
About the Recipient
Meet Bridget, a woman, a wife, a mother of three young children from West Africa, but most importantly … a human being with an overwhelming will to survive. Diagnosed with triple negative malignant breast cancer, her team of family, friends and doctors quickly determined that she should seek more advanced treatment in America. Sponsored on a visiting VISA by her family in the states, Bridget, is currently receiving treatment at Grady Memorial Hospital, a public hospital in Atlanta.
However, because this fast growing cancer has since traveled to her neck, Bridget is being closely monitored and requiring additional financial assistance in order to maintain her treatment schedule. As you already know, cancer treatment, even for a citizen without insurance, can be expensive and overwhelming. And, the most pondering question for the cancer patient is always, “will I raise enough money for the next treatment; the next doctor visit; my medications?”
Bridget’s family and friends in Africa and America, have stepped up to ensure that everything related to her treatment is being covered. However, after ongoing doctor's appointments at $265 each, and at times, back-to-back, three chemotherapy treatments, and more to come, followed by surgery to remove the slow shrinking tumors in her right breast, then radiation and post care -- the money is running out!
Help Lift a Spirit and Save a Life
Bridget needs funding as soon as possible, which will be used for appointments and treatments. Thus, my plea for assistance. Bridget believes that it doesn't matter whether you are a citizen of the United States, or not, but that the gift of life has no boundaries, sees no color and seeks mercy from all of mankind.
As a breast cancer survivor, advocate, and intervention supporter, helping to secure additional funding for Bridget is the only humane move I can make. Remember, I was once there; in her shoes, and still under the care of my oncologist. The only difference -- I have "insurance." Now, you can help provide Bridget with that same "assurance."
