Bridgette's Medical Fund
Donation protected
On Sunday, May 29th of this year I recieved a call that no son ever wants to get. My mom (Bridgette) and her boyfriend Jim had been involved in a hit and run accident while riding their motorcycle. My mom was unconcious and on her way to Denver Health Medical Center in the back of an ambulance.
Around 4:00 PM the two of them set out to a local watering hole to listen to some Sunday afternoon tunes with friends. About a mile from their destination though, a vehicle pulled across double-yellow lines in front of them. Jim had no other choice but to lay down the motorcyle at upwards of 30 MPH. My mom's injuries were extensive. She fractured her pelvis in several places. She broke her tailbone and shattered her femur. She also sustained several skull fractures and brain trauma.
I am so thankful that my mom is still here with us. I only wish that I could be of more help to her on her path to recovery. I know that a lot of people have been feeling the same way. The outpouring of love and support for my mom has only reinforced what I already knew about her; she is an angel and more popular than I could ever hope to be. I created this GoFundMe page to give friends and family a way to help my mom out so that she can focus on just getting better. Anything helps and is greatly appreciated!
Thank you!
