Bridging the Gap Greyhound Rehoming SA
Donation protected
Hi my name is Angela, I am the founder of Bridging the Gap Greyhound Rehoming SA (BTG) I am currently raising funds for our greyhounds in foster care.
BTG was started in Feb 2018 to help one greyhound named Rose when she was struggling to learn how to manage herself around small dogs which also prevented her from finding a forever home.
I was approached by a friend, who asked if I could help train and rehome Rose and give her a better chance of finding that perfect family,
so in that very moment, without thinking.. BTG was about to be born, but how do you rehome a greyhound without an organization backing? Well, you start with a Facebook account, a name your husband created, and away you go!
BTG started with Rose and we are now 180 greyhounds Rehomed over 5 years. We are small with a very small volunteer base. Not funded by any group or organization.
we are self funded and a majority of our funds are donated by the public and help to keep us going.
We are currently very low on funds and are desperately needing some assistance from generous individuals to help us to continue Rehoming our beautiful greyhounds.
All monies donated assist with every aspect of the program.
Food, Vet bills, flea and worming medication, vaccinations, collars, leads, toys, treats, muzzles and anything else a greyhound in foster care would need.
We all are familiar with the financial struggles everyone is experiencing currently in the world, and this is even harder when you do not have a continuous source of funding.
It has been suggested many times by our supporters to start a GoFundMe page, so here we are and with that push, this is why I am reaching out to you, if you could find it in your heart to donate even just $5 that would be a start.
Thank you for reading this. And thank you for donating to help these beautiful creatures
