My name is Carrie and I’m initiating this GoFundMe account to raise money for my cousin Bridjet Laurie. On April 16th she was diagnosed with a very rare cancer called uterine leiomyosarcoma.
Bridjet is currently receiving Chemotherapy treatment. Unfortunately, the cancer has metastasized to her lungs and she is requiring oxygen which will be for the rest of her life. Due to this she is unable to work at her job that she loved doing for the past 2yrs.
Bridjet is a lifelong resident of the Phoenix area, graduating from Thunderbird high school. She is married with 2 beautiful daughters.
We are asking for any help you can give. As we all know medical costs can become very overwhelming very quickly. Your donations will go directly to helping Bridjet and her family fight this very rare cancer.
My cousin is one of the most loving and giving people I have ever met. She puts everyone first before herself. She is blessed with so many wonderful family and friends that love her to pieces. This speaks volumes to what type of woman she is.
Any donations would help her and her family focus on staying positive and getting through this and help take her mind off the financial burden that cancer treatment can cause.
