Brielle & Bailey

Ashley Egan-Kunz, the mother to 8-year old Brielle Silva-Kunz & 2 year-old Bailey Egan-Kunz. Two of the most special little girls. On August 14th, Brielle and Bailey woke up without their Mommy. She passed away in her sleep unexpectedly, leaving Brielle without a mother and Bailey parent-less. (Bailey's Dad, Ben passed away in a motorcycle accident May 2022)

Brielle is my little sister. I had just returned from spending a few weeks with her, Ashley, and Bailey right before Ashley died. This surreal and horrific experience has left all of us completely devastated. Ashley was truly trying to put her best foot forward, moving to Florida in hopes to give a better life to her kids.

A huge light in all of this is that the girl’s Grandmother (Ashley's mother) Diana, is taking both of the girls and caring for them in a way that I am so beyond grateful for. I am currently doing my best to get to Florida as much as possible and help her as well.

We hope that eventually, she will be able to buy a home so the girls can have their own rooms and Brielle’s Dad, Myself, and other family members can visit as often as possible.

I put this fundraiser together so that we can have the necessary funds for the girls to live the best life possible after this terrible, heart wrenching tragedy.

During this time, I will be helping put together a memorial for Ashley and her family here in Florida. My sister Mia has put together a more immediate memorial and lantern ceremony in NY for Ashley’s friends and family who cannot travel to Florida.

I would love to add that Diana (Ashley's Mom) has worked so hard to get Brielle into an incredible Catholic school which is supporting Brielle in a way that we can only Thank God for.

Anything that you can give to help these girls will be put to amazing use and is so appreciated. I won't go into details on all of the expenses nor can I even expand my imagination enough to grasp all of it.

All I can do now is be there for Brielle and Bailey, help Diana put this new life together and provide a space where people who want to help can donate.
