Brighid

On June 18th we lost one of our oldest friends, Brighid, to Cancer. Primary, Breast Cancer. Secondary, Lung and Liver Cancer. She was unbelievably strong and brave, and put up an extremely hard fight, but did it almost on her own.

She has been in our lives for over 40 years. We met at Elmhurst Ballet School; she was funny, clever, talented, beautiful, generous and witty. She lit up a room with her incredible, positive spirit and energy, she brought a smile to everyone's face and was always on the edge of giggles. She was also intensely proud, private and complex.

She has left loving memories in our heart. We loved her, we loved being with her, and now we need to help her by helping her two sons, Theo and Luca. They would like to recognise and celebrate her life but things are not straight forward, and they are unable to financially provide for this to happen.

Are you able to help give them the opportunity to give their precious Mum a goodbye she deserves?

They are two vulnerable young men who are muddling through something so difficult, virtually on their own. Tragically, Brighid lost a sister and both her parents in the last few years so support for Theo and Luca is very limited.

There are no definite dates or plans but this will be the first step towards helping them create them.
