Bright Lights for Kids 200k 16 Sept 2023

Tax deductible
On Saturday, September 16, 2023, I will be lining up with one goal in mind: Finish the 200K cycling event that is most certainly outside of my comfort zone and experience. Having never approached an event like this before, I will need all the motivation possible to succeed! Follow my training progress on Strava: https://www.strava.com/athletes/68553809

Last year, there were 2,328 children in foster care in the KC area who were fortunate enough to have the support of CASA and CASA Volunteers. If this sounds familiar, you're right! Lifted right off of JC Van Deventer's kick-off event for the annual ride (see: https://www.brightlightsforkids.org/).

My goal is to raise $1 for each of those children to directly benefit Jackson County CASA before I line up that Saturday morning. Yep, that's $2,328. And it starts with you!

Any donation will help make an impact. Every donation gives me one more reason to finish--and trust me, I need ALL the help I can get! Thank you in advance for helping me.. and more importantly helping this incredible cause!

More information about Jackson County CASA: CASA is a unique non-profit helping abused and neglected children in the Jackson County Family Court system. Our team of trained volunteers, staff case supervisors, and staff attorneys allow each child to be represented in a court of law with a voice.
