Brighton Food Pantry Recovery
Donation protected
The Brighton Food Pantry located in the Seventh-day Adventist Church at 4th and Bromley regularly gives out food to 100+ families per give-away day. During Covid-19, it has given 220+ boxes per give away day. It is 100% volunteer run, affiliated with Food Bank of the Rockies, and supported by local businesses such as King Soopers and Platte Valley Medical Center.
On the evening of June 21st a fire burned the portion of the church that houses the food bank causing smoke, water, fire, and structural damage to the building, refrigerators, freezers and food stored inside.
As more people in our community than usual are relying on food banks, the church would like to reopen the food bank as soon as possible.
To help with this, we're setting up a GoFundMe campaign to raise $6000 to help the food bank reopen as soon as practical. The Brighton SDA Food Bank is the sole beneficiary of these funds.
With Love, and on behalf of all those who will benefit from your donation, Thank you for your generosity and support of our town! Gracias!
