Bring 'People are Happy on Trains' to Fringe!
Donation protected
Hello everybody,
We are war/war/war Theatre, a fresh-faced bunch of young theatre makers based in Galway, Ireland.
We've recently gotten the opportunity to bring 'People are Happy on Trains'- a One Act play written by our very own Anna Doyle and directed by Aoife Delany Reade to the Manchester Fringe Festival-pretty exciting, right?
However, there's just one small problem- funding. Unfortunately, as a freshly formed theatre company, money is not the easiest thing to come by, and so we are asking humbly for the support of all you lovely people.
In order to bring People are Happy on Trains to Manchester we need to raise £1,500. Should you chose to donate to us, (which we would very much appreciate), the money you give will be spent on renting a venue, accommodation, transport, marketing and the subsistence fees that come along with such an exciting feat.
We really believe that art can act as a means of changing the world,
and it would genuinely mean the world to us to get the chance to share our work at an international level.
We've been working hard to make a piece of theatre that justly portrays the complexity and gentleness of what it means to be human , and we've even managed to win an award or two along the way (Best Production, Best Direction, Best Actress- Jerome Hynes One Series 2019)! We hope that with your support we can continue to create and spread work that we feel passionate about.
As a small team, each of us is committing a huge amount of time, energy and (inevitably) personal funds, in order to give this show what it deserves. Any help you can give, however small, would make a difference! If you can’t afford to donate, WE UNDERSTAND, but please support us in whatever way you can.
- Like us on Facebook (war/war/war Theatre Company)
- Tell all your friends and family and even people you don't know or don't like about us
- COME AND SEE THE SHOW
Thank you,
w/w/w x
