Bring a taste of Puerto Rico to Corpus Christi

My name is Christina Flores. I am on the road to opening my food truck Christy's Cocina. We have a food truck already and are short of funds being that we are just two more inspections away from finally being able to serve our community and bring a unique taste of Puerto Rico to Corpus Christi.
We are now at the very end stage of having our business up and going but have found a couple a bumps on the road. We just got our fire inspection done August 24th and passed, unfortunately though we were charged twice the rate what we were told in the beginning but that was in part due to the fact that our food trailer was built from a different city and therefore our exhaust fans and suppression system wasn't to our city's standards and so it had to have work done on it in order to pass.
This is just one of the many hiccups we have come across, granted we knew from the beginning that it's never easy to chase one's dreams. We are just two more inspections away from finally being able to serve our community and bring a unique taste of Puerto Rico to Corpus Christi.
The funds received here would go towards helping us hire an official plumber associated with the railroad committee to inspect our gas pipes (already quoted at $250 for inspection alone, hoping that they don't need to fine tune anything like with our suppression system as that would also be an extra charge), and for our health inspection with our city (quoted at $100 for the inspection, $75 for the permit once passed, $10 per employee for food handlers, and another $25 per employee for background checks).
Any funds remaining from the inspections and work that may be needed for our food truck to be fixed and adjusted are planned to go towards buying the smaller necessities for running a food truck to be able to give our community top quality service, food, and an experience!
Muchas Gracias y Buen Provecho!!
