Help Bring Aidan Clune Home Today. New evidence, new hope!

Donation protected
I am raising funds for my son, Aidan Clune, a 19-year-old male, in the wake of his disappearance. I ask anyone who knows of or cares about Aidan, donate or share this page. Any donation amount is sincerely appreciated.

Aidan, of Sonoma County, was having a primary mental health crisis when he abandoned his 2007 Nissan pickup truck on U.S Highway 93 south of Wells, Nevada. He proceeded to walk into the Nevada wilderness, where his footprints were tracked for over 10 air miles into the Cherry Creek Mountains west of the highway before his tracks were eventually eroded by rain and snow.

Multiple agencies assisted in the search, including Elko County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue, Great Basin K-9, Idaho Mountain Search and Rescue, Bureau of Land Management, Nevada Fish and Game, White Pine County Sheriff’s Office, Lander County Sheriff’s Office, and the Civil Air Patrol.

The sheriff’s office said outdoor enthusiasts who may be recreating in the area of Cherry Creek Mountains are asked to be on the lookout for any clues that may assist in locating Clune.

The funds from this fundraiser will cover:
  • Reward starting at $5K up to $10k, depending on funds raised, will be given to the person with information that leads to the recovery of Aidan Clune.
  • Family travel expenses to Nevada for continuing search in the wilderness.
  • Private Investigator fees.
  • Any reward money not used will be donated to local organizations that provide free mental health services to teens and young adults.

Aidan is a wonderful loving person whose passion is creating and mixing music, playing guitar, being a good and generous friend, and building great relationships with people where he worked. One such customer remarked to his mother at the local grocery store where he worked: "This is your son? You should be very proud, He's a great guy! Always ready to help with a good attitude. He's a hard worker."

Aidan has struggled with depression off and on and has worked hard to maintain a good attitude, despite many setbacks with negative experiences throughout his life. When the pandemic hit, Aidan suffered a more profound depression and he and his family struggled with getting him mental health care. This had a significant impact on his outlook on life.
