Bring Angela Ewers-Holligan Home

Dear Family, Friends, and Kind-hearted Supporters,

It is with a heavy heart that I reach out to you today. On June 20th, 2024, we lost our beloved Angela Ewers-Holligan, affectionately known as Angie, Gella, Beanie Bub, Sis, and Bishop. Angela was a beacon of love and compassion, with a heart of gold that touched everyone she met. As we navigate through this profound grief, we are faced with the pressing need to bring her home to the United Kingdom for her final resting place.

Angela dedicated her life to Christ on March 30th, 1997, and was baptized on May 18th, 1997. Her journey of faith led her to become a pastor in 2016, spreading the gospel alongside her husband, Ron Holligan. She was an inspiration to many, both in her personal and professional life, working as a nurse and dedicating her time to Acts Christian Church in the UK.

In her final years, Angela's strength and determination were evident as she fought to become a United Kingdom citizen, achieving this milestone on March 13th, 2024. Her last trip was a dream come true, visiting the United States, spending her first Father’s Day with her dad, exploring New York with her little brother, and trying a Nathan’s Hot Dog before her passing.

We are raising funds to cover the remaining costs of Angela's funeral and her flight back to the UK. The total needed is $2,400. This amount will be added to what myself and other family members have already raised. Time is of the essence, as we need to ensure her safe return home by the end of July. Delaying this could jeopardize the integrity of her remains, which is something we are desperately trying to avoid.

Angela Ewers-Holligan was born on February 21, 1966, to Milton Ewers and Phyllis O’Meally. She was a loving wife to Ron Holligan and a cherished stepmother to Curtis, Gavin, Emily, and Grace. Angela's life was filled with joy, music, and an unwavering faith in God. She was an incredible sister to Mark, Stacey Ann, Kwam, Wayne, Aneef, Janet, David, Kipjo, Asante, and Saran, and a beloved aunt and friend to many across Jamaica, the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.

Her favorite song, “One Day at a Time Sweet Jesus,” and her love for artists like Charlie Pride and Kenny Rogers, reflect her enduring spirit and the comfort she found in faith and music. Angela's legacy of love, kindness, and faith will continue to inspire us all.
