Bring Back Abby's Joy: Support Her Healing Journey
Donation protected
Hello, friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,
My name is Abby, short for Abigail, and I’m reaching out today to ask for your support on a journey that has been incredibly challenging and emotional for me. I’ve always been passionate about staying active—whether it’s lifting weights at the gym, dancing, or keeping up with my two beautiful children, Chasity & Ian. Being a mother is my biggest joy, and I’ve always believed in leading by example—showing my kids the importance of a healthy and active lifestyle.
Unfortunately, my life was turned upside down when I suffered a torn meniscus in both of my knees. These injuries have severely impacted my ability to do the things I love most—things that give me strength, confidence, and joy. The pain has not only limited my mobility but also led me into depression, as I feel like I’m losing myself in the process.
As someone who’s always been determined and driven, this injury has been incredibly difficult to accept. The inability to be active, to keep up with my kids, or even take care of myself physically has been mentally and emotionally draining. I feel like I'm not only failing myself but failing the ones I love most—my children.
I’m asking for your support to help me get back on my feet—literally and figuratively. Your donations will help cover the cost of necessary surgeries, physical therapy, and rehabilitation that will help me recover and rebuild my strength. Every donation, no matter how small, brings me closer to the active, joyful, and confident person I know I can be again.
Here’s how the funds will be used:
Surgery costs for repairing both of my meniscus.
Physical therapy and rehab sessions to regain mobility and strength.
Support for daily needs as I recover and focus on healing without the stress of financial burden.
I’ve always prided myself on being strong, independent, and able to face challenges head-on. But right now, I need a little help. Your generosity will not only help me recover physically but also help me regain the emotional strength I need to be the best mother, friend, and person I can be.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for taking the time to read my story, and thank you for any support you can offer. If you’re not able to donate, sharing this would mean the world to me.
