Bring Back Bluee: Support The Alumni League
Donation protected
Hello. I'm Fahreed Cheatham, Commissioner of The Alumni League, Philadelphia’s unique men’s basketball league. In its youth, our league introduced Bluee, a much-loved mascot whose appearances at games and in other venues sparked excitement and joy. Unfortunately, Bluee was retired in 2021 and has been missed by kids and adults alike.
But, good news! Bluee is coming home, stronger and more lovable than ever. Pierre’s Mascots & Costumes, a Philadelphia fabricator, is producing our new Bluee, who will – with your help – return to the Alumni League in August!
When he returns to us, he will attend games and visit neighborhood schools, attend community events and raise awareness in needed areas.
Our sturdy new Bluee will last a long time, and half of the $10,000 cost of production has been met by my own donation.
Our goal is to raise $5000 through large and small donations, from individuals and businesses, over the next 6 weeks.
Bluee will support not only our players and their families in their enjoyment of our league’s games and special events – he’ll support youth sport, fitness, reading and personal growth.
Your support will make his return a win for our league and the communities we represent. For more information about our league, please visit The Alumni League
