Bring Back College Park Cafe: Donate Now

My name is Tiffany and I work at College Park Cafe. Some of you may not know but College Park Cafe is one of Orlando’s oldest diners, serving guests for over 50 years. I myself have been a part of CPC for just over a year and truly feel like I have the best job in the world. Many of our guests have visited the cafe since the very beginning. A vast majority of the customers we serve are what we call “regulars” and are the familiar faces we’ve all grown to know and love which is why I don’t just consider it a “job”.

On Christmas Eve morning, we had a kitchen fire that unfortunately caused us to temporarily close our doors for business. This is completely devastating to our staff, especially during the holiday season.

Current owners Joey & Alan are doing everything they can to try and put the pieces back together so that we can reopen our doors to serve our wonderful community. As of right now, we just don’t know how long this could take. It could be weeks or even months before we are able to fully operate again. As you can imagine, the fire completely destroyed our kitchen, the very thing that keeps the food coming. Without a kitchen, we can’t continue to make our delicious meals. Several things are going to have to be totally replaced but as a small owned and operated business we need your help.

Whether it be help with clean up, volunteering your time, or a donation, I know it would help us tremendously!

We WILL come back from this and we WILL be stronger than ever but we can’t do it alone.

Any money collected will go towards the cost of equipment, an electrician, inspector, or plumber. You name it, we need it. Any extra funds will also ensure the staff is taken care of through this unforeseen circumstance.

So please, no amount is too small. No extra set of hands will be turned down. Help us bring your favorite local diner back!!
