The Forest Hills Chamber of Commerce will not be hanging lights this year.
However, to keep the holiday spirit going, I hope to redirect these funds to CANpaign4Moms, a local non-profit that directly provides food, clothing, and shelter to single moms in Queens and other boroughs.
The donation will be sent Friday, 11/10/17. If you are OK with your donation going to this excellent local charity, you don't need to do anything!

After more than 20 years, the holiday lights on Austin Street are due to go dark this year, according to DNA Info.
Let's bring them back!
