Bring Beloved Children’s Hanukkah Book to Life
Donation protected
Hi friends!
I’m so excited to share that I’ve written a children’s book called The Hanukkah Llamakah and the Central Park Zoo — a joyful, rhyming tale about Daniel the llama, who visits the Central Park Zoo and teaches his animal friends all about the eight nights of Hanukkah. From lighting the menorah to playing dreidel, each night introduces a new tradition, told with heart, humor, and plenty of holiday spirit.
Inspired by my own background as a Chinese girl adopted into a Jewish family, this story is both a celebration of Hanukkah and a reflection of the beautiful diversity within the Jewish community. Now more than ever, sharing stories that highlight culture, connection, and kindness feels especially meaningful.
To bring this book to life, I’m raising funds to cover:
• Copyrights & legal licensures
• Publishing and printing
• And most importantly, partnering with the talented illustrator Eva Byrnes, whose artwork will help make Daniel’s world truly magical.
Whether you donate, share, or simply cheer this story on, thank you for helping me spread a little more light this Hanukkah — and beyond.
With and abundance of gratitude,
Eliana
