Bring Christmas Joy to Korean Orphans
Tax deductible
Thank you for stopping by. My foundation and I helped this Orphanage in Korea during Covid to fix a couple of their kitchen counters, sinks, and flooring. Last month, October 2024, I was blessed to go to Korea and meet the administrators and children. It was amazing. After discussing it with them, I decided we needed to go a step further and be consistent with helping the children. We are going to be providing each child with presents on their birthday. Since we are so close to Christmas, I am hoping we can bless all the children with presents in time for Christmas. This would be a tremendous way to start our next step with the orphanage.
We really need your help. There are 44 children. We want to spend about $50 per child. There are 2 children with birthdays between now and Christmas. We also would like to rent a Santa Claus to handout the presents. Ideally we would need somewhere between $2500-3000. We're praying we can reach this goal in time.
If we can raise more than $3000, then...
There is also a Children's abuse shelter we visited while in Korea. In some ways this was more emotionally tough for me. I got to hear how the children were treated by their parents or family members. I saw some of the self harm due to the abuse. It was difficult to hear and see. But there was a great relief they were safe even though temporary. They only allow 6 children at the shelter since they need more attention emotionally. As of October 2024 there was 4 children residing there. Any remaining money will go to buy Christmas presents for these 4 children ranging from Middle School to High School.
One of our foundation's hashtag is #ALittleLift. Whoever we help, we're just trying to help them to lift their spirits. We want to give them a little hope, a little love, a little care. Just a little lift. Whether for a moment or for long term, we want to provide that to them. That's what these children need. They really deserve a feeling that someone cares. I ask that you please help us give them A Little Lift.
