Bring Closure with Christopher Rainey's Memorial

Hi,

My name is Ashanti Byers and I'm helping my grandmother (Sandra Howard) raise funds for my stepfather, Christopher Franklin Rainey’s memorial service.

Unfortunately, this memorial service is three years late, as he passed away March 12, 2021, across the country, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Family was not notified of his passing, until spring of this year (after a missing person's report was filed), due to lack of due diligence by the hospital, funeral home, and law enforcement.

He had a heart attack in a Las Vegas hospital, while admitted for treatment. Local police claimed that they couldn't find next of kin and he had no emergency contacts. He was deemed a social worker case, cremated, and his remains were disposed of in the funeral home's burial plot.

He left behind three biological children and five grandchildren, along with his mother Sandra Howard.

As you can imagine, this leaves family and loved ones with no closure, and so many unanswered questions. Sandra would like to give her only child, a proper memorial in September, marking what would've been his 56th birthday.

Please help us raise the money for his memorial and celebration of life, and any extra proceeds will be used for them and in seeking legal counsel to hold someone responsible for negligence.
