Bring Collin and Clover Home

On January 19th, 2023 a report was made to Howard County DSS with malicious allegations of medical neglect and malnourishment for our 20-month-old premature son Collin who was born at 34 weeks 4 days gestation. We knew the allegations were false so we sought legal counsel. However, Howard County CPS used gorilla tactics such as showing up at Mashai's mother's house in Howard County with over 5 officers and 3 CPS workers to "check" on the welfare of our son. This nightmare became even worse on January 24th, 2023 at 9:45 pm we were surrounded at Dunkin Doughnuts in Anne Arundel County, MD by 3 CPS workers and 8-10 Anne Arundel County Police officers. We were demanded to hand over our children to CPS workers to allow them to transport our children to the hospital to get checked out by a doctor. We demanded to know why and we were told our son Collin was extremely small. Then we demanded a higher-ranking supervisor to come on the scene and our demand was ignored. After much negotiation Odenton Volunteer Fire Station Company 28 EMTs came out to asses our babies and stated that we could leave once their vitals came back good. Both of our children's vitals were checked twice and they came back perfectly fine.

The lead EMT stated that she needed to talk to the CPS social worker; they still came back stating that our babies needed to go to the hospital for further evaluation as a precaution. We were told "due to protocol" that we couldn't ride with our infant children in the ambulance, so we would need to follow them to the hospital. Once we arrived at the hospital we were kicked off of the federal property by 6 Howard County Police and 4 Johns Hopkins public safety officers at the instructions of the CPS social worker. We were told that Howard County CPS had taken custody of our children yet we didn't have a court order. Our children were perfectly healthy and were released from the hospital in less than 12 hours without medical attention.
