Bring Craig home for the Holidays
Donation protected
Sept 1, 2019 was a day that changed an island forever. My brother, Craig, was a teacher at a school on the island of Abaco, in the Bahamas that was hit by Hurricane Dorian. The school was damaged and unusable so he is has been out of a job since. He has been volunteering with family & friends doing whatever is needed. He has been without pay since then with no job in sight as most of the commerce on the island was destroyed in the hurricane. It has been a stressful and traumatic 2 months. He needs a reprieve and would like to go to Kansas City to visit family for the holidays.
If you know Craig (Wonkee, Crickey, Mr Craig, etc) you know that he gives and gives without asking for much, if anything, in return. Let's bless him so that he can fly home and have a little spending money while he is here. And also a little bit to help get him through until the school can reopen and he can get back to teaching.
Every year he does No Shave November and asked that everyone donate to a charity helping in the Bahamas this year. If you participate in No Shave November and make a donation, maybe consider donating to him this year.
Thanks for anything you can give, even if it is sharing with others that know him.
