Bring David Hoag home

Hello. My name is Michael Hoag. My brother, David W. Hoag passed away suddenly February 27th, 2024, in San Jose, Costa Rica. David's ashes are at the home of a friend in Costa Rica who will keep his ashes until they're sent to us. I'm working with the United States Embassy in Costa Rica and some local friends to bring David home. The funds will be used to pay the cost of the funeral home, his cremation, government fees and the transportation from Costa Rica back to the U.S. Once his ashes arrive in the U.S. a local funeral home will take possession of David. We would then like to have a proper memorial service with his family and friends and for David to be buried with our parents and his name be added to their headstone.

The untimely passing of our brother, David has not only found us devastated but financially unprepared and unable to bring him home without help.

Please help our family bring David back home to us where he should be.
