Bring family close while fighting cancer

We’d like to ask for your help raising money to get my family to be together during these tough times.

Like many families in the Bay Area of California, we don’t have immediate family who live nearby. My whole family are still in Ireland and Sean’s parents live in Tennessee. We visit as often as we can but the cancer diagnosis has made it more important than ever to see each other often.

While I’m in treatment Grandma and Grandpa Pennline, and Nana and Granddad McDonough and Aunty Jill have all been over for extended visits to help with the logistics of daily life and of course all of those extra hugs. We are very grateful.

However, it’s becoming more complicated and expensive to bring them to California for each saga in this adventure. Especially for this latest event, we have needed to buy last minute flights with flexible dates for which the airlines charge an arm and a leg!
