Bring Girl Scout Experience to NYC Shelter System
Donation protected
Launched in 2017, Girl Scouts of Greater New York’s Troop 6000 is a first-of-its-kind program designed to serve families living in temporary housing in the New York City shelter system.
Each week, Girl Scouts meet in shelters across the city to take part in activities that help them make new friends, earn badges, and learn to see themselves as leaders.
The Millennium Alliance, a C-Level events company based in Midtown Manhattan, is raising $5,000 to support Troop 6000's work in the community. Education and leadership are two pillars our company values above all else, and we are proud to help Troop 6000 empower the next generation of female executives, leaders, and change makers in our local New York City community.
Donations will go directly to Troop 6000 to cover the cost of membership dues, uniforms, trips, and program materials, which the organization provides at no cost to the families they serve.
