Bring Holiday Joy to Bond Elementary Kids
Donation protected
This year, the employees of the Chicago Teachers' Pension Fund have set an ambitious goal of supplying gifts for about 100 pre-K students ages 3-4 at Bond Elementary School in Chicago's Englewood Neighborhood. CTPF's team plans to distribute gifts and special treats delivered personally by Santa in December.
Bond has about 260 students, and the school is dedicated to providing students, families, and the community with an equitable, impactful, and supportive learning environment that inspires growth and promotes successful, productive citizens.
About 90% of their students are low-income, and 11% of their students are experiencing homelessness. Many families struggle to afford holiday gifts for their children.
This will be the fourth year that CTPF employees have raised funds to give back to the community we serve, and it's truly a highlight of the year. We hope to have your support so we can all share in the fun and enjoy the spirit of the season.
