Donation protected
Hello Friends - I am Isabel Furie - I live in Boston, MA. I helped this family evacuate before the border closed. Now we are trying to reunite the rest of the family AND support the family displaced to Egypt. They still have no income and need assistance to help them keep up with rent and daily expenses. I thank you for your trust in me and pray that you will open your heart to this family I care so much about. Thank you!!!
**A Heartfelt Plea for Help**Dear Friends,
Today, we write to you with a heavy heart, urging you to lend an ear to our desperate plea for help. Our family has been shattered, losing everything we have cherished and built over a lifetime. The weight of grief and despair is unbearable, and we find ourselves at a crossroads with no way forward without your support.
In late January, our homes—our sanctuaries—were destroyed. We thought that losing our houses was the hardest blow we could endure. But on January 29, 2024, our world was plunged into darkness. We lost my beloved sister-in-law, her six-month-old daughter, and their entire family in a devastating catastrophe. That day marked the end of life as we knew it.
My name is Em Majed. At 28 years old, I am a wife, a mother, and a daughter. The past year has been a harrowing journey through war and loss. I was fortunate to escape with my husband and three daughters. Yet, our joy is overshadowed by the heartache of those we left behind.
Our family remains trapped in Gaza. Enduring horrific circumstances. My father and mother-in-law, brother and sister in law Tamer and Zainab, and their 11-month-old daughter, Talia, who was born amidst the chaos of war, are living in unimaginable conditions. A precious baby, she has known only fear and devastation in her short life. It pains me deeply to think of her growing up in such a dire situation.
Asking for help is never easy, but when it comes to my family’s survival, I have no choice. The thought of them being in harm’s way is too painful to bear. I need your support. I implore you to stand by me so that we can reunite and prevent any further loss.
Every contribution, no matter how small, can profoundly impact our lives and bring us closer together. I am counting on your compassion at this critical moment.
With heartfelt gratitude,
The Hayek Family
