Bring Hope to Maha Abuamer's Family in Gaza
Donation protected
My name is Moussa Moussa, and I'm reaching out to you from Maryland with a heavy heart. I'm a father of four, but today I'm speaking not only as a father but also as a brother-in-law desperate to help my sister-in-law and her family who are facing unimaginable hardship in the Gaza Strip.
In the midst of the ongoing war, my sister-in-law Maha Abuamer and her children, Mimi, Yazid, Naeem, and the youngest, Nareeman, found themselves caught in the crossfire. Their home in Khan Yunis was destroyed, leaving them with nothing but rubble and ruins. With nowhere else to turn, they now reside in Rafah, near the Egyptian border, but their circumstances remain dire.
Picture this: a half-demolished house offering scant shelter, supplemented by a flimsy tent that offers little protection from the elements. They wander from neighborhood to neighborhood, their hearts heavy with the weight of uncertainty, seeking refuge while dodging the horrors of active war zones.
Nareeman, the youngest, bears the physical scars of this conflict, wounded but bravely clinging to life. However, without access to antibiotics, her journey to recovery is fraught with obstacles.
Every penny raised through this GoFundMe campaign will be a beacon of hope for Maha and her children. It will provide them with the essentials they so desperately need - medicine to heal their wounds, food to nourish their bodies, a generator to provide them with some semblance of comfort amidst the chaos, and perhaps most importantly, a safe place to call home, even if temporary.
But our hopes extend beyond mere survival. With your support, we aim to secure their passage to safety, potentially facilitating their evacuation into Egypt, where they can find sanctuary away from the ravages of war.
To those who can spare even a small contribution, your generosity will be a lifeline for my family. And to those who may be unable to donate, your act of sharing this campaign could be the ripple that leads to a wave of change for Maha and her children.
In this time of darkness, let us come together to shine a light of compassion and solidarity. Thank you, from the depths of my heart, for your kindness and consideration.
