In the past two and a half years, we have weathered storms that tested our resilience and strength. A miscarriage, seven failed IUIs, surgeries, tests, injections, shots, endless trials of fertility medication – each hurdle a painful reminder of the uphill battle we face. Yet, amidst the darkness, we have determination to press on. Balancing the demands of being a wife, full-time mommy to the sweetest toddler, full-time career, a recent graduated full-time student, and the emotional toll, bills, and costs of infertility treatments, I have learned the true meaning of perseverance. Through it all, we have clung to hope, held together by the unwavering support of our loved ones and the expertise of our dedicated fertility specialists. We are asking for this amount because after fighting against secondary infertility we have nearly run out of infertility insurance benefits. We are paying our own down payment for IVF and utilizing the last bit of insurance. However, after that everything else will be out of pocket, so any donations will go towards IVF medications, embryo storage, genetic testing (recommended by our doctors because of our ages), and hospital expenses.
