Bring Jermain Home
Donation protected
I helped my mother set this page up for my niece who has been missing since June 16th. Please read, share and donate if you can. We need to find her, she has kids. We all miss her and love her. Below is my mothers and our families plea for help to find her.
Hi, my name is Vicki (Morigeau) Velarde and I’m a Grandmother in crisis.
My first and oldest Granddaughter, Jermain Austin Charlo, has gone missing. It’s been over 4 months now and it’s been heart-wrenching not knowing where she is. Time is of the essence and with each day that goes by without any news keeps our family feeling so overwhelmed and helpless.
Our resources are limited so we’re asking for your most-needed support to help raise money to offer a reward for information regarding her current whereabouts, and to secure a billboard in the area to post up her missing person information.
WHAT WE KNOW
Jermain was last seen in Missoula, Montana between midnight and 1:00 a.m. on June 16, 2018. She was last seen with an acquaintance who she knows very well. She and this person had visited three different bars in Missoula that night. The person with whom Jermain was last seen told police he had dropped her off at a location and last saw her walking into the darkness. The person claims that’s where she wanted to be dropped off at. It was in the general vicinity of where she was staying that night.
Since Jermain disappeared, authorities have conducted five ground searches and questioned about a dozen people, including the person with whom Jermain was last seen. Despite these investigative efforts, none of Jermain’s belongings have been found.
The investigation has led them to believe she’s a victim of a criminal act. They believe she may be the victim of a kidnapping, sex trafficking or homicide based on aspects of the investigation.
Jermain’s social media accounts have shown zero activity since the time she was last seen, which is an absolute change in her pattern of life. The fact that that’s going on is causing great concern -- that she’s either someplace where her freedom is being restricted, or something worse has happened to her. The lack of activity on Jermain’s social media also lessens the possibility that she walked away willingly, because they don’t think her pattern of life would have deviated as quickly and abruptly as it did, if she was just out and about.
THE COST
We would like to start the reward offer at $10,000.
The billboards can cost anywhere between $575 - $850 depending on the location, and then approximately $500 for the printing. The billboard is only good for a 4-week period so expensive for a brief period, but whatever we can do to help bring her home is worth it.
A MESSAGE TO MY GRANDDAUGHTER
Dear Jermain,
If you’re anywhere at all that you can read this, please know I love you. So many people love you. We pray you’ll feel this love and it will strengthen you to survive whatever it is you’re dealing with or whoever has you.
We know you would not just walk away from your family and especially not your sons, Thomas and Jake. They need you now more than ever.
Please, know we are not giving up. So many are doing so much. Do not lose faith. God gives his strongest battles to his toughest soldiers!
All my love – forever and ever,
Your Ya-Ya
THANK YOU!
Our family thanks you from the bottom of our hearts for whatever contributions you can make, no matter how big or small. We will be forever grateful and appreciate you taking the time to let us share our devastation and grief with you.
Thank you for helping us #BRINGJERMAINHOME!
