JOSHUA CHAYNE EMERY
Maybe you met Josh in the mountains, by the beach, or at a local community event. He is a vibrant young man who in his words is a "Giant beam of light". He is compassionate, caring, and has a love for community. Recently Josh traveled to Indonesia to help find a new way of life, and seek opportunities to turn his creations into reality. In the first few months of 2021 he started his own clothing line, and had big dreams to watch his new line thrive. In the first week of May a very unfortunate event happen and Josh was caught with small amount of Marijuana. This was his medicine that worked for him since having his kidney removed. There are no over the counter medications which help Josh with his management of having one kidney. Josh broke his back over a decade ago, and had a kidney removed, and suffers from chronic nerve pain in his lower back. Josh cannot get the care he needs while remaining in Indonesian custody.
In Indonesia Marijuana is illegal and carries a heavy jail sentence or even death.
Currently Josh is sitting in a detention center as we are trying to have him moved to a hospital to seek continued care for his disability. Most importantly we are seeking to bring Josh home to the United States where he can receive proper care for his physical illness. The money that YOU donate will help us bring Josh home.
The break down is as follows
$8000 USD for Legal Fees ( This includes having him transferred to right care, having access to the best defense in Indonesia, and providing proper care for his departure to the US)
$17000 USD is Fine imposed by the Courts of Indonesia. This is the fine in which they are holding Josh. Once we pay for this Josh will be able to come home.
Please take the time to share this, donate a cup of coffee, and let us bring Josh Home!
