Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Supporters,

I find myself in a situation I never imagined I'd be in – fighting to bring my son back home after an unjust and illegal removal by Denton County Child Protective Services (CPS). My heart aches every moment he's not with me, and I'm reaching out to you for support in this difficult time.

On 12/21/23 my world was turned upside down when CPS intervened and took my beloved son away from me. This action was not only devastating but also completely unwarranted. Despite my efforts to provide a loving and safe environment for my child, we were torn apart by a system that failed to understand our situation.

I am determined to fight for justice and to bring my son back home where he belongs. However, navigating the legal system is an uphill battle, and the associated costs – from legal fees to future therapy for both myself and my son to address our emotional distress we have incurred. Additionally, there are ongoing expenses for a continued fight. & I will not rest until my son Josiah is home with ME!!!
