Bring Joy to Local Seniors!

Hi everyone!

I created this fundraiser in hopes to raise funds for craft supplies for a local senior home.

Aging is the best! With every year and wrinkle, there’s beautiful life stories and experiences that go with them. On the other side of things, sometimes aging is rough. Sometimes people don’t get visits from their family, sometimes they lose their best friends, and sometimes there’s just not a lot to do. This leads to feelings of being overwhelmed and sad.

Cheryl is a local Maryland woman who saw that loneliness and started hosting craft classes to brighten their day. Cheryl talked about the joy she saw in the seniors when they were able to create beautiful things such as resin coasters and wreaths. They even asked her to host more classes because they wanted to create more! Unfortunately there is no funding at the senior home for craft supplies. Anyone who is a crafter knows supplies can add up fast!

It’s incredible that Cheryl takes the time and money out of her own pocket to host these wonderful classes for the seniors. Let’s help support! If you saw how much it brightens a senior’s day to create, it would melt your heart.
