Bring Joy to Orphans in the Philippines

My name is Orlando and I’m a 22-year retired U.S. Army Veteran. I was born in the Philippines and I moved to the United States when I was 7 years old.

My company trailBlazer6 is an Executive Virtual Assistant Agency, and we are currently running a fundraising campaign for an orphanage in the Philippines.

I remember when I was about 4 years old, and living in Angeles Philippines, my grandmother would take me to an orphanage around Christmas time.

We would do this every year.

To me, it was just more time, that I could spend playing with other kids. Some of the kids were older, some were younger.

But I sensed something was wrong - they never had any toys and their clothes were always ragged.

But one day, my grandmother told me that the kids didn’t have parents. It took a while for me to process, but in my mind it was heartbreaking.

I didn’t know why, but I knew it wasn’t fair.

My grandmother is no longer with me, but I want to dedicate this fundraising campaign to her.

She made a huge impact on my life - something that I regret not sharing with her before she passed.

So, this is how our fundraising will differ.

My team will go onsite to the orphanage and physically donate the food, toys, and clothes to the children.

Pure transparency. And we will capture everything during the event so you can see the impact you made.
