Please Help Us Bring Our Son Keith Engel Home.
Keith has severe, debilitating Secondary Progressive Mutiple Sclerosis, MS. He is currently in the hospital in Massachusetts after the police recently found him barely breathing and unresponsive and his 24 hour caregiver dead in his apartment. Keith miraculously survived after 6 days of no food, water, medication or care. He is completely bedridden and has no use of his arms and legs and was unable to call for help. He has sepsis, 11 deep, to the bone, wounds/bed sores that need surgical intervention, is having a colostomy to keep from infecting these wounds, osteomyelitis and numerous other medical issues. When released we want to bring him home to Florida. The air medical transport is approximately $20,000.00. Keith will also need home care, medical equipment and supplies and home modification.
