Kelly’s Cremation & bringing his Remains Home

Hi, my name is Dayna Hathcock. The niece of Kelly Hathcock. I received a phone call around 10pm last night that my Uncle has passed away. Kelly was living in Pennsylvania, meanwhile his family resides in Georgia. Kelly was the baby of four brothers, Terry & Mark, greeted him at the gates and welcomed him to Heaven with their Parents, Doris & Donnie. He has one surviving brother, Chris. The funeral home that Kelly is currently at is charging $3,525 for his cremation, $20 for a death certificate, $50 county cremation fee, and an additional $65-$75 to mail his remains home to Ga. Kelly doesn’t have any life insurance and this is now left up to us, his nieces and nephews to handle. We are in the process of calling multiple different local funeral homes to see if anyone is able to do it for a less hefty charge. If so, we will adjust the goal to the minimum amount. Anything helps!
