We wanted to take a moment to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has already donated! Thanks to your generosity, we've raised $5,869 so far, and we’re excited to share that the funds have already helped us make progress on our debut album, First of Many.

Here’s what we've been able to cover so far:

Studio time: We’ve already recorded the whole album!

Mixing and Mastering: Your contributions have gone toward getting the sound just right.

We’re so close to our goal, and we still need a little more to finish covering the rest of the costs, including distribution and promotion to get the album into the world!

Reminder: If we exceed our goal of $12,000, any extra funds will go toward our next album (yes, we’ve got tons of new music already in the works!).

We’re Papuna Sharikadze and Khondzi, a pianist and saxophonist duo based in NYC, originally from Tbilisi, Georgia. Over the past 12 years, we’ve been inseparable friends, collaborating, experimenting, and growing together, constantly brimming with musical ideas. Beyond our music, we’ve built a deep bond through philosophical and spiritual conversations, realizing that the universe of music and the laws of nature are deeply connected (hopefully, you’ll hear this reflected in our sound!).

Now, we’re thrilled to announce that we’ve complied 10 original pieces for our debut album, First of Many. The title says it all – we’re just getting started! This album is the first step in a long journey of creating and sharing our music with the world, which has always been our dream.
