Bring LEEJ MUAM HMOOB to Fresno, California!

Our team, Leej Muam Hmoob, is a dance team that came together with a vision to provide a safe space for growth, passions and dreams to come true. Our vision is to support, empower and inspire dancers of all ages, genders, and body shapes through the fine arts of Hmong Dance. We love Hmong dancing because it gives us a purpose to research and learn more about our history, culture, clothing, and language. Through Hmong dancing, we get to showcase our talents, educate others about our culture and express our confidence. We want to end our journey by competing in one of the biggest and most competitive Hmong dance competitions in the US, which is the 2023 Hmong Cultural New Year Celebration dance competition that will be held from December 29th, 2022 - January 1st, 2023 in Fresno, California. This will be our first out-of-state competition, and we are looking for additional funding to help with clothing, travel and lodging expenses.
