Bring Library Back Strong!!!

CALLING ALL LIBRARY FAMILY MEMBERS: As you all know, the COVID pandemic has affected many small businesses across the country. There has been much promise of receiving aid from the Small Business Association (SBA) and various other programs such as the Payroll Protection Program (PPP), however this has not come to fruition. The Library bar staff, like many others, still have bills to pay and people to support. That being said, we have created this Go Fund Me site as a way to ask our former, current, and future patrons for any and all help that people are willing to give during this difficult time. The Library has been around for over 20 years, and we hope and pray to continue having this Chapel Hill staple around for years to come. Although the planning for creation of this site has been in the works for a while, we fully realize that the timing of this request is coming at an even more difficult time in our country for our black brothers and sisters. We want to show our support and contribute to the national fight against racial injustice. The Library has always been a home for any and all, and we will continue to be just that. That being said, we will be donating 10% of the total proceeds we raise to the Black Lives Matter Global Network. Together we can be strong! #blacklivesmatter #wearewithyou #liblife
